Sheraton Rhodes Resort

Located on the Greek Island Rhodes this 5-star hotel is a 3-minute walk from the beach. Sheraton Rhodes Resort overlooks Ixia Beach and is 4 km from the medieval town of Rhodes. The property features 5 indoor and outdoor pools and a fully equipped fitness center. There are also 4 gourmet restaurants, a lounge bar and a poolside bar.

All air-conditioned rooms at Sheraton Rhodes Resort open to a furnished balcony with views of the mountains, the garden or the Aegean Sea. Each room has a small TV and a mini refrigerator. There are two accessible rooms adapted for people with limited mobility with balcony and garden/mountain view.

The accessible room located on the 8th floor has a bathroom provided with toilet with grabrails. A shower chair attached to the wall and a barrier-free sink. The closet is not accessible since the clothing bar is too high. The balcony has a ramp down to a small lower platform to enjoy the outdoor.

The breakfast buffet and dinner are served in the Castellania Restaurant on the 6th floor. This is not very accessible by height of the serving tables. There is also a part of the floor raised and not accessible for wheelchair-users. The staff is helpful and they are there to serve you.

Squash, tennis and basketball courts have been laid out for sports enthusiasts. To enter the courts there are stairs.

The entertainment team of the kids' club organizes organized activities like dancing. During the high season a few nights a week there is live music at night.

Rhodes Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and there is plenty to do. Rhodes Diagoras International Airport is 15 km from the hotel, that's about 20 minutes.

Free private parking is available on site. Great for guests who rent a car. There is one disabled parking spot close to the elevator with a ramp.

Tirzah had a long stay here in July 2022. The staff was most friendly and the hotel is clean. There are a few points that this hotel can improve to be more accessible; getting to the beach as a wheelchair-user (there are many stairs), shower needs more space, all decks/floors with view should be accessible by ramp, other room options (sea view option or suite option).
